Essay about Women and craft personal photo project
Fujilove is a monthly online magazine about photography published by Fuji, a leading camera manufacturer with 140,000+ monthly visitors and 200k+ followers on social media.
I wrote an essay about my personal project Women and сraft for the 119th issue of the magazine (February 2026). The text is illustrated with portraits of the first eight heroines from the Lombardy region, Italy — artists, ceramists, designers and others. Under each photo is a short profile with information about the author, their artistic style and so on.
The project aims to motivate women to engage in visual and other arts, whether among the direct magazine’s readers or anyone else who finds it through their Instagram and Facebook, or other channels.
