Ivan Kuznetsov — outdoor journalist, editor and writer, co-founder of Panoramica creative studio in the Italian Alps.
— This page is a collection of reviews about my work and communication with me from current and former clients, fellow journalists and managers, participants of my hikes in the Dolomites, heroes of interviews, readers of texts and books, listeners of my talks, students of writing courses, guests on Airbnb and hosts on Couchsurfing, and others. In total, there are more than 200+ positive reviews for sure.
For more details about cooperation with those and other people, here’s also my CV and portfolio.
Ivan is a talented journalist and editor. Very active. He quickly felt the mood of Bird In Flight magazine. He could find topics and heroes, interesting to readers. This is confirmed by the high number of views of his publications on our website (5–10k on average).
— Irina Sklyar, editor of Bird In Flight photo magazine, Kyiv, Ukraine
I really liked my interview about living in Georgia for My Planet. Thank you Ivan for the cool, interesting to answer, and fun questions!
— Daria Kholodilina, manager of the National Tourism Administration, Tbilisi, Georgia
Ivan is reliable and calm, like a Zen Buddhist or a samurai. When I write to him at two in the morning, I get the article. When I say that the article looks like a piece of guano, he redrafts it. When I’m wrong, he points out the error, we produce good material. He’s persistent and learns quickly. But if you need an obedient journalist or a weak-willed editor, it’s not Ivan you need.
— Timur Tatarintsev, editor of Arrivo.ru, Moscow, Russia
I had fun answering the questions. I confess I didn’t expect a personal approach.
— Anna Lomako, travel blogger, Kiev, Urkaine
Ivan is the engine. He has found diamonds among thousands of guides from around the world for my startup HelloGuide. In a short time, he organized excursions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Sochi. He’s a mix of indefatigability and fine taste! During his time as editor-in-chief of the project, he made a huge contribution to it.
— Kirill Kulakov, CEO of HelloGuide.ru start-up, Moscow, Russia
Ivan’s last interview with a hero from Malaysia is great!
— Alexandra Gurieva, editorial editor of the website My Planet, Moscow, Russia
I got to know Ivan and was awesome how integral and interesting he is. It was a shame when he was not accepted as an editor of the blog at Aviasales.ru, our leading service for cheap flights. But Vanya is more like a National Geographic author. Any editor-copywriter can make a post 6 Methods to Save Money in Taiwan or something like that, and not any content of Ivan’s level.
— Victor Fomin, editor in marketing website Cossa.ru, Moscow, Russia
Thank you, Ivan, for an interesting conversation. The interview turned out to be frank.
— Radmila Lipnik, restaurateur and businesswoman, Bar, Montenegro
I needed a text for the main page of the website: a story about the company, what we do, our advantages — in general, to convincingly sell us to the customer. Ivan coped with the task to the tune of 146%. First, he interviewed me and got to know more about my business and objectives. And a month later, when we launched the site Ivan checked the work and wrote a whole page of comments and suggestions.
— Sergey Maximov, CEO of the express delivery company Gtbx.ru, Kaliningrad, Russia
Great book. I got nostalgic re-reading the conversation, and even let a tear fall. Flattered to be on the list of the most famous Russian-speaking travelers, would love to read other interviews!
— Levon Avakian, designer, Moscow, Russia
This was one of the best Airbnbs that I have stayed at! The small town of Lamon is a great place to stay if you love hiking and adventures that are off the beaten path. Ivan was an amazing host! He made me feel welcome and is also very knowledgeable about the area. I would recommend this place and him for 100%!
— Lauren, traveler, Ontario, Canada
I needed a tour guide to the Dolomites for my individual tour for two friends. Vanya was great! Boring tour guide is not about Vanya.
— Yulia Kireeva, organizer of Indochina Tiger Travel, Hanoi, Vietnam
There is a category of people who know how to write very smart and tasty. They light up the appetite of people around them. So the author was able to enchant so much with his story about a temporary move to Georgia that now we will discuss a possible (no, 100%!) trip to Tbilisi with our family.
— Vladimir Frolov, reader of start-up magazine vc.ru, Moscow, Russia
Vanya is a rare master of a good interview, a friend of the words. After communicating with him, I stopped answering the questions sent to me from any other press.
— Alexander Ivanov, writer and traveler, Altai, Russia
Ivan edited the text of my website about content strategies: and corrected the structure, wording, and style. He gave valuable feedback and commented on the case, and deadlines were agreed upon. Together we turned a raw outline into finished material, which helped us attract new customers. It is pleasant to communicate with him and easy to work with him.
— Olga Satunkina, content strategist, Sochi, Russia
Ivan turns posts and photos from our blog into magazine articles that you can be proud of. He has the talent to make a finished product: beautiful and well-packaged. He came up with (and literally forced us to) hold a master class on street photography, which collected only positive feedback.
— Mishail Varfalomeev, blogger and street photographer, Saint Petersburg, Russia
The Airbnb experience Hiking to Sochi Waterfalls was carefully designed. Ivan knows the small places very well and the experience was perfect.
— S. Maad, IT specialist, Karachi, Pakistan
Over the past few years, the number of views likes, and reposts on Arrivo.ru has tripled. With it, articles have become livelier and more interesting, and interview heroes have turned into loyal friends of our publication. If you need a journalist and editor you can rely on, trust to do a difficult job and know that it will be ready on time, then you have found him.
— Lana Stesina, CEO of digital agency Arrivo Media, Moscow, Russia
