Join Panoramica on a hike north of Venice: meet two creatives, explore the nature and inspire from it, share experience, and support the local community — yes, all of it at the same time.
Overview
Panoramica creative hike is a three-day life-changing adventure with Ivan Kuznetsov and Irina Kudres — outdoor journalists and photographers with 20 years in the field combined.
The adventure happens during four months from June to September 2025 between four towns: Feltre and Lamon in the Belluno province, and Fiera di Primiero and San Martino di Castrozza in the Trentino province. This is the most non-touristy southern part of the world-famous UNESCO Dolomites mountain range. During these days, you will meet two local professionals, make together three challenging picturesque hikes with panoramic views to all sides, and share creative works and ideas, while eating Italian food at the best local cafés, bars, restaurants, pizzerias, and rifugios. You will see other locals and learn about their way of life in the nature. The total hiking distance is about 30 km (10 km per day on average).
The hike will appeal to anyone already familiar with Panoramica’s work, but wants to experience it in a direct way and to share their creative output. In one way or another, it will give a positive energy boost to all three parties — you, us, and other locals.
I want life to be different after the hike, because it just can’t be the same.
— Irina Kudres, photographer, Bergamo, Italy, after her first hike in September 2018
Locals
Ivan Kuznetsov and Irina Kudres are co-founders of Panoramica creative studio.
They met during one of the first creative hikes that Ivan organized in the Dolomites in September 2018. He first came in the region in March 2013 to take part in a year-long volunteer project of Legambiente, the largest Italian environmental association. They moved to Italy together two years later, enrolling at the tourism master’s degree course at the University of Bergamo. Here they also settled in the mountains from the day one rather than in the city, due to the remote education (and work), but more because of their love of nature. After the study, they stayed in the Bergamo Alps, where they found their second home. It inspired them to create Panoramica studio in the same year.
In total, they have organised 11 creative hikes for 32 people from Russia, Israel, Mexico, Canada, Italy, and other countries. If you add to that Ivan’s work in Legambiente, you get over 100 people who have already came to the Italy to meet us, and liked it.

Contents
The creative hike lasts three days, where everything is mixed. But in general, the first day is about meeting and knowing each other, the second day is about hiking and learning about nature, and the third day is about sharing creativity.
Day 1: Meeting with Panoramica
• We will meet before lunch at the train station in Feltre, a town 100 km north of Venice. It is one of the “gateways” to the Dolomites from the south.
• From here we will take a bus to the town of Lamon higher up in the mountains at 600 m (30 minutes). This is our base for the next three days. In the village we will help you check into your hotel, have lunch together in one of the bars, and go for a walk around the village.
• In the evening, we’ll have dinner at a pizzeria to celebrate the trip.
You will learn about how we came to this place and started Panoramica studio inspired by the mountains. You will tell us about your place of origin and trip to Italy and about your creativity.
Day 2: Hiking in the mountains
• For the whole day we will go on a challenging hike to the nearby Pale di San Martino and Lagorai mountains. These are two neighboring major ranges in the Dolomites and Fiemme mountains, the largest by area, up to 3.000 m. The travel distance from Lamon is just 1–1,5 hours.
• Depending on the weather, we will climb a mountain plateau, a pass, a spruce forest, and just walk to the villages of Fiera di Primiero and San Martino di Castrozza. At lunch, we’ll eat at one of the bars or rifugios along the way.
• We will take the bus back to Lamon at 16:00–17:00 for a dinner.
You’ll learn about nature, but also history, traditions, culture and other peculiarities of life in this part of the Dolomites and in general, and about our experience of living and creating here.
Day 3: Sharing creative experiences
• In the morning we will play an Interview Game based on best questions from the many interviews that Panoramica has recorded over the years of its work. It will help us to get to know each other on an even deeper level, and for you to get to know yourselves better.
• After lunch, we will walk to a lost forest lake near Lamon through many smaller villages. In the evening, we will continue to chat about creativity and other topics with dinner at one of the restaurants, or again at a pizzeria.
• In the next morning, we will wish you a happy journey back on your return trip from Lamon or from Feltre, depending on your transportation.
You will learn how we write our books and do other things and get some creative tips. To make it real sharing, bring something from your creativity — even your best smartphone photo lately.
Pricing
300 euro/person, discounts for groups of more than 4 people.
Since it is not a guided hiking tour but a meeting for a hike together, the cost doesn’t include organization of a trip itself: transport, hotel, food, and other personal things you may need.
The average additional cost of these services above is around 300–350 euro/person: 50 for trains and buses from and back to Venice, 250 for a room for two people in a hotel with breakfast for three nights, and 50–100 for three dinners and lunches.
But, of course, we will help with advice on how to organize your trip to the Dolomites.
Reviews
This great journey has given me mountains of new things. I’ve learned a new side of myself that I’ve never seen before.
— Tanya, photographer, self-employed, Moscow, Russia
I don’t know how the hike would have turned out if Ivan hadn’t believed in us. But he did, and it was worth a lot. He blessed us to take the hard route instead of the easy one: “I can see that you will make it!”
— Natasha, manager in the game testing group at NVIDIA, San Diego, California, USA
The main impression is not even how beautiful the mountains it is, but understanding of what incredible heights you can climb.
